Rachel creates spaces for story and sound through writing and publishing poetry. She lives, writes, and teaches in Iowa, and is an Editor for America's oldest literary magazine, the North American Review, established in 1815. She's a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and teaches at the University of Northern Iowa.
